This blog was created by the Palestine Israel Action Group (PIAG), a subcommittee of the Peace and Social Concerns Committee of Ann Arbor Friends Meeting. PIAG's deep concern about the 67-year old conflict has led us to action, education, and dialogue. Gaza: Dead Zoo
This field in Gaza Valley (Wadi Gaza) was once teeming with beautiful bird life. Now, it is a dumping ground for dead animals. How could it be, that in the name of democracy, peace, and security, the environment has been ruined and the people are traumatized by the scene of destruction that greets them?
